Who Is Buying in Naples?



Lately, several clients have asked, "Where are buyers coming from?" There are four places that are key in the Naples housing market.

 First, many buyers come through your neighbors. These buyers are friends or family members of people already living in your community who have similar interests. These folks would love to live in your home!

 Second, many buyers are former renters. Now, they are looking at a different approach than before. With our current low interest rates, renters have an excellent opportunity to purchase a home.


 We also see a lot of relocation buyers. These buyers may be looking for a change in climate or they're going through a job transfer, life change, or retirement. Relocation buyers may purchase on a full time or seasonal basis. 

 Finally, many buyers start out as tourists. People come for vacation and just don't want to leave! They fall in love with our area and end up buying.
